About Miloco
Miloco is the largest and most dynamic group of recording studios in the UK. We firmly believe we provide the best recording services across the industry, and pride ourselves on the fact that our company is driven by some of the most respected and established professionals in the business.
The Miloco family tree has grown from a small selection of our own rooms into a comprehensive group of studios, ranging from some of Europe's foremost luxury facilities through to affordable programming spaces, and with pretty much everything else inbetween. Miloco now operates on a partnership-driven business model, where we work alongside producers and musicians in representing their own personal studios as commercial ventures. It has led to numerous well-known studios across London joining the group, amongst them the world-famous Battery complex, which we run in partnership with Flood and Alan Moulder; West London's Sofa Sound run in collaboration with Hugh Padgham; The Pool, which combines a vast space in our Leroy Street building with a large personal collection of gear owned by producer Ben Hillier; The Garden, run in partnership with producer Craig Silvey and owner Matt Johnson; and Musikbox, which is operated in conjunction with DJ Pete Heller.
The company has recently expanded across the UK with three residential studios, Fisher Lane in Surrey, Chairworks near Leeds, and Angelic Studios near Banbury. The latter two of which came about through partnering studio owner Ryan Jarvis and musician Toby Smith. We also run the famous Liverpool studio, The Motor Museum, in partnership with producer Mike Crossey, and The Ironworks in Brighton with Mike Pelanconi. Miloco has grown overseas, with two luxurious residential studio villas: El Cortijo in South Spain, a villa owned by session drummer Trevor Morais; and Black Rock on the island of Santorini, owned by Greek industry expert Kostas Kalimeris. However whilst we have expanded our network of partnership studios, we have also succesfully developed our own core, London-based rooms, such as The Engine Room, The Square and The Yard.
With over 25 years' experience of quality recording under the belt, this unique marriage between Miloco's own facilities and those represented by the group continues to go from strength to strength. Take a look around our 'About' pages to find out more on Miloco, our partners, and of course our excellent team of studio staff...

Milo Music was founded in 1984 in the heart of Hoxton in East London. It started life as a mid-range studio but quickly became a well-respected facility catering for the likes of Marc Almond, Tricky, M-People and The Brand New Heavies before growing in size with the building of a pre-production suite. This space doubled-up as a studio, recording artists such as The Divine Comedy and UNKLE, and for many years these two studios were at the heart of the Milo operation.
