Growing up a tad south of Glasgow in the town of Pollock (alright, alright), Brendan Campbell's strand of folk music combines a "snapshot of Glasgow life" with "a slice of some other dreamy world". Sounds captivating. Hopefully, the waves he makes in the world of folk match, if not surpass, those he sports gracefully on his head.
