Florence Welch and her band of merry men are better known by the name of Florence and the Machine, who rose to prominence in 2009 as part of the BBC's 'BBC Introducing' project, which champions the best new music across the UK each year. And Florence fits into that category effortlessly .
At the time of writing, Florence has already charmed the nation after scooping the coveted Critics Choice award at the 2009 BRIT Awards, and when her debut album Lungs - tracked in The Garden and The Pool by producers James Ford and Paul Epworth respectively - hits the shelves in July '09, you'd put your bottom dollar on it living up to expectations and going down as one of the greatest debut albums of the year.
