Jamie T

Miloco [heart]s Jamie T. Not only does he dish up such infectiously fabulous doses of hip hip dub punk pop that we come over all giddy, but he also likes to put monkeys in his videos. Is there a better win-double than that?

Jamie T lived in our Toyshop studio for almost 12 months throughout the latter half of 2005 and the early knockings of 2006, writing, recording and mixing his debut singles and album with trusty sidekick and programmer/producer Ben Coupland. If you see him tell him we miss him and want him to come home.

Miloco Releases

Released 7th May 2007

# Jamie T - 'Sheila'
You may remember our favourite Wimbeldon ruffian released this cracking concoction of a rash of reggae, an inkling of indie and a splash of steeldrums last summer, but it was so darn good he had to treat us all to it again this year.

Jamie T was in The Toyshop throughout 2006 with engineer Ben Coupland.

Released 29th January 2007

# Jamie T - 'Panic Prevention'
'Panic Prevention' is a bold and daring debut. It's elastic kitchen sink delivery is brutally sharp and its wide eyed, agile paced make up nod to all. An album that will challenge anyone to dare steal the soundtrack to his 2007.

Jamie T recorded his album throughout 2006 in our Toyshop studios with Ben Coupland engineering.

Released 15th January 2007

# Jamie T - 'Calm Down Dearest'
Mr T prepares his legions of fans for the imminent release of Panic Prevention, his debut album, with his third single Calm Down Dearest. It follows the top twenty hits, 'Sheila' and 'If You Got The Money'. A plea to a friend who's "racking and stacking them lines". It's another typical tale of hedonism from Jamie T, but this time around it's more of a cautionary tale.

Jamie T recorded this single and the rest of his forthcoming album in the Toyshop during the early part of 2006.

Released 16th October 2006

# Jamie T - 'If You Got The Money'
Latest single from the masterly Jamie T from what must surely be his imminent debut album. How much longer must we wait for the Long Player, Mr T? This track is, needless to say, another supreme slice of dubby urban rap pop...

Jamie T was in The Toyshop throughout 2005 and 2006 with producer/programmer Ben Coupland.

Released 13th February 2006

# Jamie T - 'Selfish Sons EP' and 'Betty and the Selfish Sons'
The superb Selfish Sons EP came out back in October 2005 on a limited edition release 7" via Virgin. It featured the tracks 'Back In The Game' and 'So Lonely Was The Ballad'.

Those tracks are also going to be included on the forthcoming 'Betty and the Selfish Sons', also on Virgin and due out on 18th February 2006, which will have the additional tracks 'Salvador' (also recorded at Miloco) and Livin With Betty.

Jamie was in The Toyshop throughout 2005 and again over the winter of 2005/2006 with engineer Ben Coupland.
