The Mattafix boys, a.k.a Preetesh and Marlon, have a distinctive, unique and refreshing sound. Falling somewhere between the genres of hip-hop and soul. They signed to the Buddhist Punk label in 2005 and released there debut album 'Big City Life' in August 2005. An album is expected on the horizon shortly.
Mattafix came to Miloco in 2004 and we loved them so much we gave them studio time to work on new material. This resulted in them getting their record deal with Buddhist Punk. They returned in 2005 to the Toyshop studios with producer Steve 'Dub' Jones and Seggs to work on their debut single. The single was mixed in the Neve VR room with the aid of Ben Thackeray.
