The King Blues

The King Blues are taking it back to the true vibes of London ska-punk, and have been recently occupying The Square with producer Clive Langer and Interface engineer Finn Eiles, making a new album. Prior to the release of this debut major-release later in 2008, the band have already shined at Reading and Leeds, Wembley Arena and Blackpool's Rebellion festival. What else? - well they won Radio One's best punk song of 2006 with the track 'Mr Music Man', have a monthly residency at Camden's Purple Turtle, and, leaving the best til last, apparently broke denim 12-bar legends Status Quo's record of most gigs played in a 24 hour period; the Quo managed 4, when the Blues almost doubled it with 7. How official or renowned that record is, is left to be debated. Still though, it's quite an achievement, and one worth paying tribute to with this short but friendly inquisition...
