Young talented engineer / mixer Simon 'Barny' Barnicott used to work at Miloco Studios where he was an in house engineer for several years working with acts such as Elastica, Queen Adreena, Super Furry Animals and Coldplay.

Since going freelance in 2002 he has been exclusively engineering / mixing alongside Jim Abbiss, working with acts such as The Music, Placebo, Suede, UNKLE, Ambulance Ltd, Honeymoon Machine, Brit nominated Kasabian, Ladytron, Broken Dolls and The Editors. More recently he and Jim have once again teamed up with new acts Mattafix, Arctic Monkeys and Duels. Currently Barny has just commenced production for the forthcoming Ambulance album and forthcoming Cinematics tracks.

Barny has worked at all of the Miloco Studios (learning his trade at our Leroy Street complex). In 2005 he was in The Garden studios mixing Grandad Bob.
