Darren started his career at Metropolis before moving to Assault & Battery to train under Alan Moulder and Flood. Here he gained a unique insight into the worlds of mixing, recording and production, working closely with Alan and Flood on numerous records by artists such as White Lies, Bloc Party, Placebo, Editors and Wolfmother.
He has refined his skills working with a variety of producers including Gil Norton, Ben Hillier, Paul Epworth and Jim Sclavunos. It is from such diverse experience that Darren takes influence from during his current projects.
Equally comfortable using Neve and SSL consoles Darren has recently engineered for The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart and White Lies.
