Quick band history:
Started playing as a 4-piece (drums, 2 guitars, bass, vocals) in 1998 then started playing as a 2-piece in 2000. We released a mini-album on Fierce Panda in 2003 and have been constantly on tour since then.
We released a full length album on Double Dragon in 2004 and also some EPs and singles.
We've also been playing in Mondo Generator for about a year with Nick Oliveri (ex-Queens Of The Stone Age) on bass and vocals. We recorded a Mondo Generator album in Los Angeles in December 2005.
What label are you signed to? (And how did it come about?)
None
What project are you doing here at Miloco (e.g. recording, mixing or remixing/single tracks or album) and when's it due to be released?
Recording and mixing 7 songs for an EP/mini-album to be released around March/April.
How would you describe the material you're working on?
Heavy, fast, aggressive rock.
Who's producing (and why did you choose them/what's good about them)?
Paul Fyfe is recording the EP. He's toured with us a live sound engineer so he knows what we should sound like and we trust him to make it sound brutal.
Which Miloco studio/s are you using (and why did you choose it/them)?
The Square in Hoxton. We're paying for the recording ourselves so we needed a good affordable studio with a 24 track 2 inch machine and Paul Fyfe recommended we use this studio.
Which Miloco engineer/producer/assistant are you using and how have you found them?
Ben [Thackeray] and he's been very helpful.
