Publicity is swarming around Camp Coldplay (!). The band have announced they will play
2 free shows to mark the release of their highly-anticipated fourth album, Viva La Vida - at
London's Brixton Academy on June 16, and New York's Madison Square Garden a week later on June 23.

Generosity is rife it seems. It has also been revealed today that the album's first single will be also released for free. 'Violet Hill' will be released on 7" vinyl, and will be accompanied by the b-side 'A Spell A Rebel Yell'.
Capping the latest splurge of Coldplay headlines is the revelation of Viva La Vida's eye-catching artwork. The artwork borrows French painter Eugene Delacroix's 'Liberty Leading the People', with 'VIVA LA VIDA' splatted on in white paint. You might love it, you might just hate it...
