Depeche Mode and frYars collaboration?
Miloco New York sessions produce chance encounter!

frYars frontman Ben Garrett has revealed that David Gahan will guest vocal on the forthcoming frYars' album, Dark Young Hearts, being produced by Miloco client Luke Smith and engineered by Interface's Ferg Peterkin. Gahan became acquainted with Garrett's work in New York, where Luke and Ferg have also of course been working on the new Depeche Mode album, with producer Ben Hillier.
Garrett told the NME, "Basically, Luke was doing stuff with Ben Hillier on Depeche Mode's album and Dave came in while they were on down time, heard my music and really loved it and asked to sing on it. I'm really excited about it, and when I go over to America we might even do something live together."
Gahan will appear on album track 'Visitor', which will reportedly be made available for download on the frYars Myspace page on the run up to Dark Young Hearts' 2009 release.
