The man who brought his Big Brother fame to Miloco's 5-a-side footie tournament twice (and won the thing once!!), Donny Tourette,
has taken his first steps into a new career in film acting. The Towers of London frontman and Tabloid-targeted hellraiser
will star in a new short film,
What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor?, a picture based on the life and times of artist and writer
Nina Hamnett in 1950s Soho, London, and directed by the Wet Paint Theatre founder, Chris Ward.
'
What Shall We Do...'s' filming is complete, and is now reportedly in post production. Donny's role in the film is yet to be divulged,
although we can reveal that he will star alongside Shakespeare Sister/Bananarama's Siobhan Fahey, Clive Arrindale and Benjamin Jason Reeves.
Nina Hamnett was famed for a flamboyant and sexually-promiscuous lifestyle, and sported the nickname of 'the Queen of Bohemia' throughout her public life. She died a controversial
death in 1956 aged 66, after falling from a Central London apartment and impaling herself on a fence. Although never confirmed as suicide, her last words are widely reported as being
"Why don't they let me die?".
