Farris Rotter designs Charlatans album sleeve
16th April 08

Reports coming in of our multi-gifted clients exerting their talents in numerous fields besides
recording, are what they call rife. This week we've learned that Horrors frontman Farris Rotter
has lent his artistic flair to The Charlatans, coming up with the design for the sleeve of their
new album
You Cross My Path. The album will be given a physical release on May 12, after
a spell existing solely on a free download platform.
Farris follows one Jarvis Cocker, who will be indulging in his schoolmaster abilities at Brighton
Festival (see MILC's report), and Nick Cave who is now a doctor, as well as a rockstar, actor and
novelist (again reported on MILC recently).
An original 'Rotter' is on show as a feature of Miloco's iconic wall in The Pool,
which displays pieces left by the studio's fantastic clients. Book out some time in The Pool
for a first-hand viewing!
