Happy Mondays to headline established charity gig

The Happy Mondays are to follow in the footsteps of fellow Manchester music icons
Ian Brown and Peter Hook, and headline the third Versus Cancer charity gig, taking place next month
in Manchester, funnily enough.
Shaun, Bez and the rest will be joined by yet another significant act from Manchester's rock history, Inspiral Carpets, however the event is not entirely exclusive to locals as The Fratellis will be driving south across the border to perform, and the Fun Lovin' Criminals will be flying a few thousand miles East across the Atlantic, for the good cause. So there.
The charity gig will take place at the Manchester MEN Arena on February 23, and tickets are going for £40 from Ticketmaster and See Tickets.
