Klaxons and Rihanna to collaborate for memorable Brits performance

London nu-rave is set to meet Barbadian pop beats in a special fling at this year's Brit Awards,
taking place tomorrow night (Wed Feb 20). The Mercury Prize winners and Miloco clients
will take to the stage with the pop superstar to perform a one-off rendition of her
massive hit, 'Umbrella'. When talking to BBC Radio 1, Klaxons hinted at a "slant on
a contemporary version of it", seemingly of the impression that the 2007 original has
somewhat dated over the last few months.
"It's an electronic version with guitars on it, with a twist of 'Golden Skans'". It could be very interesting.
Meanwhile, the South London band have been nominated for two awards: Best Live Act, and Best Breakthrough Act. Rihanna is running for the Best International Female Solo Artist gong.
