Mercury Prize Nominations!
3-strong Miloco contingent...
4th July 08

The 2008 Mercury Music Prize is a topic beginning to appear on the lips of music fans, and in keeping with our
own traditional success at the prestigious ceremony, we have another three clients on the short-list of
12 candidates.
Laura Marling has earnt a nomination for her sublime folk debut,
Alas I Cannot Swim, partly mixed in The
Engine Room by producer Phill Brown in late 2007. Joining her are Cardiff electro-popsters
Neon Neon, who have recently
been courting the talents of Interface engineer
Pete Hofmann, and Pete's long-term collaborator, producer
Richard X.
Completing the Miloco force are
British Sea Power, whose phenomenal
Do You Like Rock Music? - mixed in
The Engine Room by Graham Sutton - sees them bidding for this year's gong.
A huge congratulations to everyone in the Miloco family web on the news of this year's nominations. Good luck on the big night!!
