Primal Scream lead Miloco charge at Vodafone Live Music Awards
19th Sep 08

Primal Scream were the pick of the bunch at last night's Vodafone Live Music Awards, scooping the gong for Best Live Act, as well as
receiving recognition for their Outstanding Contribution to Live Music. The veteran Scottish dance/rock band soared to success at the awards,
fresh off the back of their excellent new album
Beautiful Future, which features the single 'Can't Go Back', engineered by Interface's
Mark Rankin.
Scream were joined on the victory stage last night by a couple more Miloco clients too. Kate Nash (whose debut album
Made Of Bricks was also tracked by
Mark Rankin in The Pool) won the prize for Best Live Female, and Mark Ronson who came to Sofa Sound in the summer of 2007 triumphed as Best Live Male.
Recent Alpha Centauri clients Glasvegas also appeared to perform an acoustic version of 'Daddy's Gone'.
