Rock N Roll Riot Tour!

Primal Scream to headline NME's winter jaunt...

29th July 08

# The NME have announced Primal Scream as the headline act of this year's Rock N Roll Riot Tour. The announcement follows last week's release of the acclaimed 9th Primal Scream studio album, Beautiful Future. Lead-singer Bobby Gillespie has announced that the tour will include a varied set of old and new Primal Scream tracks, as well as some numbers yet to be written.

The Glaswegian band, formed in the late 1980s, recorded the first single from Beautiful Future, 'Can't Go Back' with producer Paul Epworth and Interface engineer Mark Rankin, in 2007.

Primal Scream follow fellow Miloco clients The Duke Spirit, Razorlight, Dogs, The Maccabees, The Horrors, The Dykeenies and Sohodolls, who have all taken part on the tour since it was established in 2003. Other acts to tour this year will be announced before long.
