Apologies for the elongated pause of current client news at MILC, but there's no better way to break some resurfacing ice with some positive news on that good old faithful friend, the live music circuit. We have some big clients hitting the road before the year is out...
Stereophnonics, our resident Sofa Sound Brit Pop heroes shall be appearing across the UK in December to follow-up their Decade In The Sun greatest hits compilation, released in the last month to celebrate a fine 10 years in the limelight of British rock. With support from fellow Milo clients The Courteeners, it will certainly be a cracking tour, so find out more!
Primal Scream head off soon as well. Bobby and the boys are hitting the road in two days time on a 17-dater across the nation, including three recently added dates at Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. It is of course their headline slot at the NME Rock N Roll Riot Tour, so will be naturaly brilliant. Tickets are going here . Meanwhile, tickets for NME's other annual knees-up, The NME Award Tour 2009, featuring Milocees Glasvegas, Friendly Fires, White Lies and Florence & The Machine, go on sale this month at www.nme.com/gigs.
Bloc Party's winter antics are set to begin in January in Scotland, when they set out on a 8-date mega tour covering Glasgow, Manchester, Wolverhampton and London, with plenty more dates for 2009 in the pipeline. Other exemplum clients you should watch out for in this credit crunched and rain-punched season are: Slipknot, Flamboyant Bella, Red Light Company and many many more, but we could literally go on forever.
