Jon's first professional studio position was as in-house engineer at Jacob's, home to both Neve VR and SSL desks, where he worked with many leading producers and engineers including Stephen Street, Cenzo Townshend, Gil Norton and Ken Thomas. He quickly progressed to engineering first demos and then fully released tracks.

After a stint as a freelance assistant and engineer working with the likes of Steve Fitzmaurice, Tom Elmhirst and Jerry Boys he joined Miloco in 2006.

Jon spent the first few years of his career in a tape based studio but has been quick to embrace digital technology, using both formats to achieve the sound required.

Jon has recently engineered projects for Jade Jagger (soul), Ernest (Roots) Nkabinde (dance), The Duloks (alternative), Hayley Westenra (classical), The Rushing (Rock) and Shaun Anthony (r'n'b) and regularly assists for Chris Sheldon.
