Driven from an early age by his love of music, Matt decided the only option for him was to pursue a career in the recording industry. Starting out as a trainee tape op for EMI Music studios, he went on to work as a freelance assistant engineer for many of London's top studios including Townhouse and Strongroom.

Armed with the knowledge he gained from rubbing shoulders with many top-flight engineers and producers, Matt soon graduated to recording and mixing top ten chart hits of his own (e.g. The Corrs and Tin Tin Out). In 2000 he joined up with Morgan Khan (legendary founder of the Street Sounds label) and his new label MWA, and began cutting house, hip-hop, R'n'B and both U.S. & U.K. garage records. Whilst working with Morgan, Matt also used his diverse programming talents on a number of successful TV projects, before spending the next two years based at The Dairy studios as in-house engineer.

He then took the next logical step in his career and teamed up with Miloco studios. Since then he has expanded his skills and is writing music designed for TV/Film, collaborating with a number of artists and occupying many of Miloco's fine recording studios.
