Everlasting Vinyl Dubplates!

An innovative new service exclusive to Miloco clients...

Miloco have introduced a fantastic new vinyl cutting service, allowing clients to walk away from sessions with an innovative everlasting vinyl dub plate of their work. What makes this acetate different from the usual one-offs is rather than lasting for just a few plays it lasts forever!

Artists' never-ending enthusiasm for vinyl cuts of their music can now be met by this unique offer. For as little as £16.00 you can own a unique and incredible-sounding 7" record (of up to 4 minutes per side), or for slightly more a whole range of other 7", 10" and 12" vinyl options. Your everlasting plate can be turned around in a couple of days, so no more 3-week waits for pressing plants to supply your minimum run of 300 records! This is a fast, efficient and revolutionary service providing a one-off vinyl master of your work.

This new service is fairly unique and can only be done by a number of people. And it couldn't be simpler - if you would like to walk away from the studio with one of these unique vinyl reproductions of your session's work, we can have it mastered, ready and available for you to take home in just two days!

How it works...

The key difference between these vinyl plates and conventional acetates usually used to supply one-off masters is that they last forever. If you go to a conventional mastering room they usually cut the vinyl master into soft acetate to then send to a pressing plant to make up plates for manufacturing. This acetate will usually only last several plays before the soft lacquer used to produce it rapidly deteriorates, leaving the record un-useable. Because of this, they are sent to pressing plants to be converted to vinyl, and from there can only be ordered at a minimum of 300-500 copies, and of course only provide the downgraded sound quality of finished pressed copies. This is where we come in...

We have the means to produce exceptional sounding one-off vinyl masters within an astonishingly quick turnaround, essentially cutting-out the necessity to manufacture your record at great expense. Unlike standard equipment used at this early stage of mastering, which uses a sapphire needle to cut into acetate, our unique technology uses a diamond to cut directly into a piece of specially formulated plastic. This enables us to quickly and efficiently create individual, personalised and of course everlasting vinyl plates, which contain all the brilliant sound qualities you'd come to expect from a vinyl record.

Uses for the everlasting dubplate:

There are many uses for this exciting new service.

1. We can give band members / artists a copy of what they have done in the studio on vinyl. How much better would it be to go away and listen to your master on vinyl rather than CD? It is not just a novelty, it will sound fat!

2. DJs... For those DJs out there who still use vinyl (yes we know you exist) you can get your work put onto vinyl for all your gigs... (rather than the first 10 before the acetate degrades).

3. Promotional Tools - If management companies or labels want to run off a limited run of 7" vinyl as a promotional tool then you can come to us.
