Miloco Poster Competition
.Miloco Studios are looking to create some new CD inlays which are sent to thousands of record companies, managers, and artists. We will be looking for original artwork, photography, textiles, digital print and mixed media to reflect the excitement of recording at miloco. In particular we are looking for one image for one side of a nine by nine cd foldout which hopefully will be a strong enough image to be put up on noticeboards as a poster. We hope that this will work both ways giving invaluable exposure to a designer to the industry and help us avoid using the usual images of a recording studio.
Therefore we are going to run a free entry competition over the next 6 weeks to find 10 images suitable for the poster. We would then like to hold an exhibition where the finalists could both meet people in the industry and also provide an opportunity to sell the original pieces. From these 10 images we would then choose the winning entry to represent us.
We anticipate the initial print run would be 2000 and we would hope to purchase the original artwork from the winner.
Competition criteria :
Miloco are open to anything however we hope the chosen image will capture the spirit and energy when recording at Miloco.
ALL ENTRIES SHOULD BE RECEIVED BY 1ST AUGUST 2008.

The format should preferably be a 2 dimensional image or design. If the design is a digital image then needs to be no bigger than 366.5mm x 366.5mm square and 300dpi.
Miloco reserve the right to add their logo contact details and possibly a slogan to the final image depending on the content of the image chosen and to use the image for future advertising and promotional material.
