The SSL Rooms

Miloco currently operates four SSL rooms: Alpha Centauri, Sofa Sound, The Yard and Fisher Lane. Since 2006 we have developed a comprehensive SSL presence across London and the South-East, which we feel covers all bases for those engineers and producers who prefer their consoles Solid State. All four rooms offer something different to clients. Alpha Centauri is an incredible mix room based in Willesden Green. The studio is based around an SSL 4060 G+ loaded with 32 black E EQs and 28 black G EQs. The room has a phenomenal amount of outboard which has resulted in it becoming the UK's highest spec mix facility. Sofa Sound has the versatility of being both a top-end mix room and a tracking studio. The studio is based around an SSL 4072 G+ loaded with 62 channels of E EQ's and 4 stereo channels. The room has a spacious daylit control room and has large racks of outboard both new and old. The Yard is our affordable SSL mix room based in Highbury. The console is an SSL 4056G with a G+ computer. It is loaded with 48 channels of G EQs and 2 stereo channels. Due to its price the room can be used as a mix room or a high end programming space. Finally, Fisher Lane, our residential SSL option. This famous rural studio is located in the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside, and is built around a pristine SSL E-Series console. Joining the Miloco group in 2008, Fisher Lane provides a world-class SSL tracking and mix studio, whilst at the same time offering clients a beautiful residential retreat close to London. All of the rooms come with top end Protools HD3 rigs.
