What the rates include

• Days in Lightship95 are 12 hour days. The 12 hours begin from when you wish to start.
• We may from time to time offer an unsigned rate depending on the time needed. Please call to discuss.
• All the prices exclude VAT which is chargeable at 20%.
• The rates include an assistant or an engineer not both. You can hire one other engineers on top of the rate.
• All prices exclude tapes/materials, cabs and hire costs.
• The rates include the equipment shown on the equipment specification but as you can imagine the gear does break from time to time. If we cannot replace the gear we cannot offer a discount on the rate. Of course in the unlikely scenario that a major breakdown happens during the session (such as the console / tape machine) we shall discuss the time lost.
• Any equipment that is 'subject to availability' on the individual room specifications, needs to be requested prior to the session. This is especially important for guitar amps and backline, which regularly moves around the studios. There may be a delivery charge for this equipment if it is at another studio.

Day Rate

This is the day rate of Lightship95. The day is a 12 hour day. A lockout day rate (upto 7am the following morning) can be arranged by calling the office prior to the commencement of the session.

Lockout Rate

The Lockout rate for Lightship95 is another £ 150.00 on top of the day rate agreed. This will give you as many hours as you need up to 7am in the morning.

5 day Rate

We can offer the 5 day rate on all of our rooms for bookings under 5 days. This is a cheaper rate you can book the studio for, but we can only confirm the session 72 hours prior to the start of the session. This allows us to be flexible when a large 7 day booking comes in which needs the same time you may be holding for one day. In the event this occurs we will either offer you another room (which may sometimes be an upgrade) or we shall ask you to re-schedule or you can always pay the Book Rate. If the booking is over 5 consecutive days you can confirm the 5 day rate of the studio at any time.
