Lion Aboard is the private studio of the Anglo-Brazilian Producer/Musician Utters (Maverick Sabre, Foxes, Rebecca Ferguson).

In it's original guise as The Library the space was already unique (with it's faux-bookcase and red/wooden interior); the new resident producer has taken it even further, filling it with 1970s office furniture and lining it wall-to-wall with weird and wonderful sound-making devices.

Conceived completely with writing and inspiration in mind (which can often be in short supply in sterile studio environments),  an instrument is never more than an arm's reach away here. Doing away with even the sacred control room sofa, the space instead encourages participation from all who enter.

If you don't write a masterpiece when you're in session here, you have no excuse!

Writers regularly using the studio include Cameron McVey (Massive Attack, Sugababes), Ian Dench (Beyoncé, Shakira), Paddy Byrne (Paloma Faith, Will Young), Crispin Hunt (Florence and The Machine, Ellie Goulding), Tanya Lacey (Will.I.Am, J-Lo) and Ali Tenant (Jessie J, Pixie Lott).
