Musikbox is the epitome of exclusive London writing studios. It has everything the creative writer needs: spacious and comfortable rooms, a relaxed atmosphere and private location, plus lots of great equipment to work with. Throw in a prime North London position and fantastic rate, and you begin to realise that this is something of a one-off.

Musikbox is in Kentish Town, Camden, and occupies a secluded lower-ground floor space hidden away from the public eye. A large control room and two booths are filled with some brilliant gear, mainly a large collection of analogue synths and keyboards: Korg, Roland, Moog and ARP models all feature. There is a good choice of microphones, Pro Tools HD3 rig running versions 10 and 9 on an Intel Mac Pro and amazing monitoring. Also included is a leisurely chill-out room with cool and contemporary furnishings, and there is natural light throughout the studio.

As a writing studio Musikbox has other special qualities too. Designed by Recording Architecture the control room not only has exceptional acoustics, but also includes a pristine-condition Neve VR60 console and extensive choice of outboard. You will be just as happy mixing here as you are writing, programming or overdubbing.
