Sofa Sound is Miloco's first studio located in West London. We are honoured to have represented this beautifully crafted room owned by legendary producer and engineer, Hugh Padgham, since the summer of 2007.
Sofa Sound provides as a top-end SSL mix studio to add to our diverse range of rooms, however it also has a good live space for those wanting to track. The room is based around a fully automated SSL G+ console with 62 mono and 4 stereo channels, Quested monitors and a Protools HD3 Accel rig with Apogee convertors, providing 32 inputs and 48 outputs. Add to this a host of plug-ins, a wide range of outboard equipment including rare EQ's, a Studer 2" and an Ampex ATR100 (for mastering), and you can see why this is one of West London's first-choice mix rooms.
Enhancing the fine technical quality of the studio, there is of course air-conditioning, ample daylight, 24 hour maintenance, plus the use of a shared rec room consisting of a pool table, table football, kitchen preperation area and Sky TV. In the summer months, clients can enjoy a communal roof terrace providing great views across West London. Add to this the local amenities of Chiswick High Road, famed for its exceptional and broad choice of cuisine, and you'll find this fantastic studio is hard to better.
