The Bridge Programming Studio - Overview
The Bridge is a 640 sq ft space comprising a control room, live space and booth. The entrance to the studio leads into the booth which doubles up as a TV room. This then leads onto the small control room and down into the live room.
Approximately 300 sq ft, the live room is a fully air-conditioned, versatile space that is capable of recording anything from string quartets to live drums. The room has a brand new wooden floor and large acoustic panels on the walls and ceiling, which are covered in a mixture of burgundy and white fabrics and illuminated by halogen lights to create a relaxing and creative ambience. A large soundproof window at the front of the room provides a direct line of sight to The Engine Room.
A smaller window and glass door at the back of the room gives access and visibility to the booth and control room. The bright-sounding booth features a brand new carpet, fresh coat of paint and panels on the ceiling and is excellent for overdubbing guitars or recording percussion. The air-conditioned control room has been acoustically treated to serve as a very dead sounding space.
We have designed The Bridge to work in conjunction with The Engine Room, or as a standalone facility. There are a number of combinations available to clients at a range of prices. All of the different areas within the two studios are fully tie-lined and benefit from having clear visibility between them. If you choose to use both studios we only charge an extra £100 for use of the Bridge. This makes it an extremely economical option if you need a second programming / overdubbing space while mixing.
