Arctic Monkeys
What more can be said about the unrivalled modern-day success of the Arctic Monkeys? Well, as always their continuing story is in no-one else's hands but their own, although two Mercury Prize nominations (including one win), over ten other major British awards, international platinum sales, world tours, Glastonbury headline slots, and of course the odd entry in the Guinness Book Of Records, already paints a clear picture. Their hugely successful second album, Favourite Worst Nightmare was tracked in The Garden by producers James Ford and Mike Crossey in 2006.
The Long Blondes
Drawing from a stand-out combination of Punk, Electro and New Wave, The Long Blondes have shot to being one of the most definable and acclaimed bands of the UK indie scene of the mid-to-late 2000s. Hailing from Sheffield, they stayed close to home for their first album, Someone To Drive You Home, choosing former Pulp bassist and Miloco client Steve Mackey to produce the record. The follow-up, Couples, released in April 2008, saw producer Erol Alkan enter the fold. Couples was tracked in The Garden in late 2007.
Gallows
Hertfordshire punks Gallows were in The Garden in 2007 with Interface engineer Matt Hyde, mixing a selection of tracks which would go on to appear on their groundbreaking debut album Orchestra of Wolves. Their scintillating live shows became one of the most prominent and exciting undercurrents to the 2007 music scene, promoting their original strand of hardcore to audiences across the globe. Lead-singer Frank Carter topped the NMEs coveted 'Cool List' at the end of an incredible year for the band.

The album was described by lead singer Shaun Ryder as being "better" than the Mondays' 1990 classic, Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches.
