Everton FC is another one of English Football's most historic clubs. Like their bitter local rivals Liverpool FC, the "blue-half" of the city are renowned as boast some of the most passionate supporters in England. Tickets for Goodison Park are probably easier to come by than for Anfield.

The ACC Liverpool Development on the city's waterfront was opened in 2008 and is split between the BT convention centre and the Echo Arena. The intriguing vehicle you see before your eyes goes by the name of The Yellow Duckmarine, which is sold on the inspired slogan of 'Water-way to see Livepool'. You'll no doubt have guessed by now what purpose the Duckmarine serves, and that's to transport sightseers around Liverpool's famous landmarks which it does in the form of one hour tours, starting and ending at Albert Dock on the waterfront.

You can get closer to the Liver Building on foot by going to Pier Head. It is a major part of Liverpool's status as a UNESCO World Heritage Maritime Mercantile City, and its world-famous Gothic design is reported to have played a major influence on other globally-recognised buildings as New York's Manhattan Municipal Building and the Seven Sisters in Moscow.
