Barry Admason's contributions to bands Magazine, Visage, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Pan Sonic
have earned him a status as one of Britan's most acclaimed veterans to be born out of the
punk era. After phasing out his time as a band member, he re-introduced himself as a solo artist
working with alternative jazz and electronica. He is also a renowned film composer, credited
on the scores of Gas Food Lodging and Lost Highway. He mixed his ninth solo album,
Back to the Cat in The Yard in October 2007.

The multi-instrumental electro duo Crystal Castles have won plaudits and friends alike upon their
arrival in the UK from their home city of Toronto. Their self-titled debut album - mixed in The Yard -
is one of the most eagerly-anticipated debuts of 2008, however their remixing abilities have
hooked them up with the likes of GoodBooks, Bloc Party and Klaxons, all of which too
have their own recording relationships with us.

IV Thieves took the trip from Texas to Highbury to mix the album If We Can't Escape My Pretty.
They follow their influences closely - big Led Zep riffs and energetic vocals from the shared lead-singership
of Shane Lawlor and Glynn Wedgewood, make for a fun listen. The album was produced by Chris Sheldon
and released on One Little Indian in 2007.

The burgeoning London ska band, The King Blues, are set to release their second Long-Player later
in 2008. The festival season of 2007 saw the 5-piece hotly-tipped to build on the hype created
by their 2006 debut Under the Fog, which included the single 'Mr Music Man' - the winner
of Radio One's 'Best Punk Song' for 2006. They have been recording and mixing the follow-up
in The Square and The Yard with producer Clive Langer and Interface engineer Finn Eiles in early
2008.
